As an update on the adoption, while Thistle is still on her 14 day quarantine, she quickly settled into the guest room and plays a lot with her toys in there.  She still won’t let me touch her but she will come close to me and doesn’t mind my presence as she eats and plays.  Her and the lonely cat I got her to be a companion for sit quietly on opposite sides of the door awaiting their full introduction – which will be this Friday – and I’m confident that they will quickly become excellent friends.
