Just a quick update for you of our two kittens we adopted last month.  Oba was our foster fail. He was only 7 weeks old when we got him and from what I was told he was found all by himself.  He was very skinny and sick when we first got him.  Now he’s a big and growing healthy boy.  

We also adopted Ripley (was Zorro) as a companion for Oba so he wouldn’t be the only cat. Ripley was the last of her litter to be adopted so we didn’t want her to be alone either. 

Oba is a quiet, shy but loving boy. He loves kisses and cuddles but doesn’t like the unknown.  Ripley on the other hand is a talkative, playful and very confident girl. She’s pushing boundaries every day, wanting to explore further and further.  She had no fear when my friends young kids were over.  She was wanting to be in the action with them. 

Oba and Ripley bonded pretty easily.  Ripley was unsure at first because Oba loves to chase and wrestle.  Now they have a great balance in playing and love to nap together.  

I don’t know if it’s possible but I would love for this update to make it back to the person who found and rescued Oba. He is going to have a long and happy life with us because of them.  We just lost our 21 year old kitty in December and all our cats have lived to 18/19 because we take good care and love them so much!
