I just thought you would like to see an update on Ms Lena that was adopted by me in January.

Don’t let the floof fool you, she is not as huge as she appears, although she will never skip a meal either lol.

She is doing wonderful. Still has sight and hearing issues and not yet adjusted to our other senior cat in our house.

But Lena has her own bedroom, and comes out multiple times a day with the family and roams around the house as though she owns it.

We realized early on that things are going to move at Lena’s speed. And it may take her years to fully trust our other cat…who would never hurt a soul.

She took a particular liking to our adult son (23) and she is his shadow now. She felt the other cat owned us all a bit too much for her liking.

We are just happy she fully accepted someone as her person.

She is still sassy, but has gained some patience. My husband installed a motion detection night light at her litter box, so even with her failing eyesight she

can always see where she needs to be.
