It’s been two weeks since we adopted little Moon, now Isabella Joy. Izzy, and we wanted to send you a little update!

We truly could not have asked for a better kitty. Izzy settled into our home almost immediately and has brought us so much joy. She is sweet, confident, playful, incredibly snuggly, and already such a big part of our family.

One of the best parts has been watching her with her 2 year old Golden Retriever brother, Stewart. From day one, it seemed like they were just meant to be together. Stewart has been so gentle and patient with his tiny sister, and Izzy absolutely adores him. She follows him around, looks for him when he isn’t home, and even runs to him for reassurance when the scary vacuum comes out. Every morning Stewart waits excitedly for her to come out so they can start their day together.

Their friendship has even become a daily story at our tutoring centre. Our students have always loved “their Stewart” and are so excited to hear updates about how he and his new little sister are doing. Stewart is the inspiration behind our Pawsitively Stewart books, and it looks like he may have a new little character joining his adventures now!

We also want to give a special thank you to the medical team for fostering and caring for Izzy until she was healthy and thriving. We are so grateful to everyone who cared for her before she found her way to us.

It really feels like Izzy was meant to be part of our family. She is very, very loved, and we think her big brother would agree.
