We adopted George (previously Nick Wilde) on June 27th. He started out a little shy and unsure but boy has he come around. With the help of his dog siblings Lily (Windsor Humane alumni) and Ted, he’s really come out of his shell. He keeps everyone on their toes and plays hard, even becoming a Houdini and figuring out how to get out of his kennel (we still have no idea how he does it)! As hard as he plays he sleeps even harder. He loves to snuggle up when he’s tired and will even come find his mommy asking to be picked up and snuggled to sleep. We’ve figured out that although George knows how to swim he hates the pool, he loves anything he can chew and swallow, including sticks and mulch, and lives for mealtime. He can also tell time and will go to his bowls at breakfast, lunch, and dinner waiting patiently to be fed. He has definitely become a part of our pack and fits in so well with our family. ❤️
