Get Silly for Good Causes at The Silly Olympics 2026!

No athletic ability required. However, a team with a sense of humour and a desire to do good in the community might just go all the way to the podium!

Two Amherstburg businesses, GL Heritage Brewing Co. and The Good Stuff., are teaming up to present The Silly Olympics 2026, a new community fundraiser coming to GL Heritage on Saturday, September 26 from 11:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Six teams of six will go head-to-head in a series of hilariously silly challenges — while also competing to raise as much money as possible for two local charities: The Welcome Centre Shelter for Women & Families and the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.

Think old-school field day with a grown-up twist: egg-and-spoon races, sack races, water bucket relays, giant Jenga and other goofy challenges where teamwork, determination and a willingness to look ridiculous matter far more than strength or athletic ability!
