Welcome to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society’s Happy Tails Dog Park!
Happy Tails Dog Park is a safe and gated area where dogs can run, play, and have fun.
During the day, the park is used to give shelter dogs a place to play, and to meet with potential families. But off hours, the park is available for rent by the hour. Once you book your time, you will receive an access code for the lock, and the park is yours and your pup’s exclusively for the full hour!

using SniffSpot for bookings after September 30th. If you have purchased credit far in advance, please contact Nicole at
nicoleb@windsorhumane.org to discuss what options are available to you.

Visits are $9 USD per hour for the first dog, and 50% off for additional dogs (the site is a US site so fees are in US funds).
All park users are required to clean up after their dogs. Failure to do so will prevent you from being able to book future dates.
Use of the park is at your own risk.
Please note that there may be uneven areas of pavement, or toys on the ground that could be a trip hazard.
What are the bricks on the wall?
In our “Happy Tails Dog Park” we offer a beautiful retaining wall made up of black granite “bricks”. The bricks are laser-engraved and customizable with the message of your choice.
