St. Clair College Performing Arts Student Production of CATS to collect money for WECHS

St. Clair College Performing Arts is proud to announce a special initiative to support our furry friends in need. In partnership with the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society (WECHS), donation boxes will be placed at the entrance to the Chrysler Theatre during the upcoming production of “CATS.”

The WECHS serves as a safe refuge for animals in need, offering rescue, relief, and compassionate care. Their dedicated team works tirelessly to reunite lost animals with their families, find loving forever homes through adoption programs, and provide assistance with spaying and neutering to prevent overpopulation.

By supporting the WECHS, community members can help provide a second chance at life for

animals in need. Donations will contribute to a variety of programs and services offered by the WECHS, including adoption programs, humane education initiatives, cruelty investigations, and a pet food bank.

“We are proud to support the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society and their important work in our community,” said Wiklanski, “Through this partnership, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals in need and promote compassion and kindness towards all living creatures.”

Attendees of the “CATS” production at the Chrysler Theatre are encouraged to contribute to the donation boxes located at the entrance. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of animals in our community.

“CATS” will run at the Chrysler Theatre from April 10th to April 20th. Don’t miss your chance to experience this unforgettable journey into the world of the Jellicle Cats.
