Celebrate the Year of the "Mini-Tiger" with the Humane Society

The Year of the Tiger began on Sunday, February 14 and to celebrate, the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society is offering everyone who adopts one of our ‘mini-tigers’ a chance to win an instant prize.  Tigers make terrible house companions, but our mini-tigers will bring a little bit of the jungle into your home, while still being willing to curl up on your lap for a nap.

Chinese New Year traditionally runs for 15 days, and therefore this special offer will also run for the entire celebration period.  A red envelope (traditionally exchanged during this celebration) containing an instant win prize ballot will be included with each cat adoption.  Prizes include gift certificates as well as cat related items.

All cats and kittens adopted during this special holiday period will receive all the usual adoption benefits, including spay/neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations (excluding rabies), FIV and feline leukemia testing, deworming, and flea treatment.  Adoption fees are $125 for cats, and $150 for kittens.
