“On June 27, 2015 a new family took me home.  As they were not quite sure if I was a good fit they took me home on a trial basis.  Well, what can I say, my winning personality, cute face and loving ways won them over and on July 17, 2015 I became an official member in my new family.  I am a very active boy and have lots of energy so my mom and dad have had to get used to that but they have read up on me (I am part GSP – German Shorthair Pointer) and are doing what is necessary to keep me happy and healthy.  They said I have ADHD (adopted dog, happy dog) because I am always smiling and wagging my tail.  They also cannot believe how smart I am.  I was adopted because they had to make the difficult decision to ease their last dog’s pain in a humane way and my mom and dad were very sad and needed some help to overcome their sadness.  I owe Rhodie a lot because in his own way he made room for me to step in and bring and some joy back to their lives and from what I am told, I have achieved this!  My mom was told that when I was at the Humane Society so many people overlooked me and they don’t know why because I am such a sweet guy but my mom told them that I was the only one she wanted to look at.  Lucky for me, because I am now in my forever home!  So, to all those dogs that may be overlooked at one time or another I say hang on, one day maybe you will get lucky and someone will only have eyes for you!”
