Awesome kid alert! Check out a few of the compassionate young people who’ve stopped by recently. Clockwise from top left: Charlie and her brother James raised $470 making and selling bracelets; Madison is part of the student parliament at Centennial Central Public School, she and her classmates raised funds to purchase a big box of goodies for the animals at the Humane Society; and Karma held a lemonade stand (when the weather was warmer) and saved her earnings until now to buy treats for the animals. Thank you all!

Isabelle saved up her allowance money for a long time, and today dropped it off to help the animals at the Humane Society.  Shortbread is waiting to go home with his new family, but he wanted to help us say thank you to Isabelle for being so kind!

The JK and SK students from Holy Name Catholic Elementary School in Essex did a donation drive for their Christmas Giving Project, and collected all kinds of supplies and donations. Thank you so much for the generous donations!

Maia and Isabelle, students from Lakeview Montessori School dropped by on Thursday to present a cheque for $1248.00! The student council held a fundraiser over the past few weeks selling Candy Grams at their school, where students could buy their friends candy canes and write a nice message. This is the second year in a row that the students have donated their fundraising efforts in support of the animals here at the shelter.

Thank you so much to the students, staff and parents at Lakeview Montessori School for your support!

These two wonderful  ladies are part of a group of students from the University of Windsor Odette School of Business that organized an event that raised over $1000! Their furry friends insisted on some cuddles to say thank you!

On the right is Janet, holding her namesake kitten Janet, who wanted to thank her for her amazing donation of $205 – Janet is a yoga instructor at Bliss Wellness Studio, and she held an event in Kingsville called Yoga at the Park, with proceeds benefitting the Humane Society. Thank you Janet!

This amazing young lady on the right, holding little Lancelot, is Teya – and she is a budding entrepreneur! She has a company called Animala, where she makes beautiful healing stone bracelets, which she sells at Bliss Wellness Studio in Kingsville – a portion of her sales support her furry friends at the Humane Society. Teya stopped by to drop off an incredible donation of $175! Thank you Teya!

Noble the kitten just had to take a moment to thank Caitlyn when she stopped by to drop off the incredible donation of $2817 her and her fellow group members from St Clair College raised at their Let’s Pawrty fundraiser dinner!

Thank you so much for all of your hard work – you’ve helped so many animals!
