The weather may be getting cooler, but there’s still time for a successful lemonade stand! These amazing kids raised $42 from their lemonade stand. They planned it all themselves, and spent hours raising their donation one cup at a time! Amelia and Riley, we didn’t say it as much as we should have when you stopped by to see us, but we we want to send you a huge thank you from everyone here at the Humane Society for being the caring young people you are and helping the animals in our community!
You might remember the cute little guy in this photo as Meeko, now named Otis Redding. His mom, Hailey, pictured here, is celebrating his one year adoptiversary! Otis just got his certification as a service dog, and enjoys horseback riding (yes, you read that right!), playing with his cat brother (also a WECHS alumni) and chasing squirrels in his down time.
Hailey decided to host a Open Mic Night at the Legion 255 to help animals just like her Otis, and raised over $400! Thank you Otis and Hailey!
Nine year old Kiva used her own money for donations to help the animals at the Humane Society. Thanks Kiva for being so sweet!
