Viktoria spent part of her March break checking out our web site, and decided to bring in some gifts for some of the animals. She personally picked out toys and treats for some of the animals in our care. Thank you for helping make their stay a little brighter Viktoria!

Picture4Picture2 Picture1On February 25th, Mrs. Adam’s class at Belle River Public School got busy making delicious cupcakes in support of Cupcake Day for the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society. The students worked very hard, decorating some awesome cupcakes, even turning some of them into animal faces! Their creativity and hard work paid off when they sold out of cupcakes the first day of their sale. In fact, they were so successful, they did the sale the next day and sold out of cupcakes again!

The class has been learning about animals and what the Humane Society does. This inspired them to help out with their local animal shelter. The class stopped by the Humane Society after the totals from their bake sale were in, to learn a little more about what the Humane Society does, and to present us with an amazing check for $165!! Thank you Mrs. Adam’s class for all your hard work and dedication to helping the animals in our care! photo

Showcasing our furry friends, sharing graphics that make us smile and think, and sharing photos from events and activities.  We are excited to present….
